Layout
Once all of the images were created, a layout was in order. A graphic novel is more than just a series of images thrown together, it's a book. It has page numbers, it has front matter, it has an inside cover and an author's note.
I utilized the tools in Adobe InDesign for the full layout of the book. I love using this program for these types of projects. It's very easy to manipulate and has loads of helpful tools to construct a printable layout.
Each page was 10.5" x 7", making each spread 10.5" x 14" plus a .25" blead all around. At it's completion there were sixty pages including the cover. It was from here that the digital files were saved and printing could begin.
